#1 Watermelon + Milk

Full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants with higher water content – watermelon isn’t simply a juicy summer time fruit that help us stay hydrated and healthy. Additionally, it works wonders on the skin of yours if applied from outside. Meanwhile, milk can also be a great moisturiser that’s known to heal dry skin cells. Together they can soothe sunburnt, dehydrated skin, providing you with a radiant and supple complexion.

 

Steps:

  1. Have a small bowl and then add half cup of watermelon juice in it.
  2. Add one tablespoon of milk and mix them well.
  3. Apply the mask on the face and neck, and allow it to stay for 20 25 minutes.
  4. Wash it all with lukewarm water.

#2 Aloe Vera + Yoghurt

Aloe vera mixed with yoghurt is actually all your skin need after a long day out in the sunshine. The transparent slimy gel of aloe vera is actually rich in enzymes, amino acids and Vitamins A, B, C which help hydrate and soothe sunburnt or irritated skin, while fresh, unflavoured yoghurt keeps skin soft. Together they may make your skin soothed, supple and nourished.

 

Steps:

  1. Mix aproximatelly 4 tablespoons of aloe vera with 2 tablespoons of plain yoghurt to form a paste in a bowl.
  2. Apply a heavy coating on the face and neck. Let it stay for 20 25 minutes.
  3. Wash it all with lukewarm water.

#3 Mint + Turmeric

Anti-Inflammatory properties and the cooling of mint help calm skin that is dry and control oiliness, while turmeric powder helps fight pimples and redness. Mixing mint paste with turmeric powder is able to keep the skin fresh and rejuvenated throughout the day.

 

Steps:

  1. Have a bunch of washed mint leaves, and grind to a paste.
  2. Mix it with a spoonful of turmeric powder.
  3. Apply a heavy coating on the face and neck. Let it stay for 10 15 minutes.
  4. Wash it all with lukewarm water.

#4 Cucumber + Avocado

Cucumber, a low-calorie and delicious summer fruit, is also great for quenching thirsty, flushed skin. The water rich vegetable contains ninety five % moisture, antioxidants and anti inflammatory nutrients.  Mixing with the summer veggie with avocado is able to seal in moisture and soothe inflammation.

 

Steps:

  1. Halve an avocado. Using a spoon, scoop out a teaspoon of place and avocado it in a small blender.
  2. Cut off ¼ of a small cucumber, place and peel it in a small blender.
  3. Add a tablespoon of water. Blend till mix well.
  4. Apply the mask on the face and neck, and let the coolness sink into the skin of yours.
  5. Wait for 20 25 minutes and rinse off.
