While sleep is actually excellent for dark circles, here are some great natural remedies for those annoying dark circles under eyes, without spending a ridiculous amount of money on cosmetic treatments.
#1 Cold tea bags
Eliminate the dark circles of yours with a few tea bags as caffeinated tea contains natural tannins which have been known to lighten dark circles. Dip 2 bags of tea in water that is warm for aproximatelly three to five minutes, preferably chamomile or perhaps green tea. Take them out and squeeze out the extra liquid from the bags. Pop them in the refrigerator for another ten minutes to chill them. Place one tea bag on each eye for aproximatelly fifteen to thirty minutes. You might use the fingertips of yours to use gentle pressure to the eyes of yours or perhaps gently massage the area around your eyes.
#2 Raw potato
Raw potatoes contain natural bleaching agents as enzymes, starch and vitamin C which can help alleviate dark under eye circles for brighter, well rested eyes. Just grate the raw potato and extract the juice from it. Then soak 2 cotton balls in the juice. Place them on the dark circles and leave them for ten minutes. Remove and wash the eyes of yours with water that is cool.
#3 Sweet almond oil
Sweet almond oil is able to help replenish and strengthen the skin under the eyes, because of a couple of good fatty acids it contains. Simply apply a small amount of sweet almond oil on your under eye area and gently massage it into the skin. Leave it on overnight and wash it off the next morning. Or perhaps you may layer it with your favourite eye cream with other beneficial ingredients like firming peptides to reduce the look of wrinkles, lines, puffiness, and dark circles.
#4 Cucumbers
A high level of vitamin K, which has been found to play a major role in improving blood flow and therefore reducing the look of under eye circles is contained by cucumber slices. When you are looking for a quicker fix, try soaking 2 cucumbers in lemon juice for three minutes in the fridge. Then place them on the eyes of yours for aproximatelly fifteen minutes. Be sure you stay away from getting the lemon juice in the eyes of yours. Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
